BMB-100 Bombard II

The Bombard II is an assault scale upgrade of the BMB-010 Bombard. Evidence indicates its origin as a one-off Solaris VII contender constructed during the Federated Commonwealth Civil War. Inevitably seized by the military, the hundred ton conscript proved suitable for tactical urban warfare. Twin rotary autocannons and double large lasers provide a staggering barrage that shred five tons of armor in seconds. The omission of an extralight fusion engine allows the design to continue combat with the lost of side torsos. Its greatest weakness, a fragile composite structure, is safeguarded beneath eighteen tons of light ferro-fibrous protection. The ponderous speed of the Bombard II is partly offset through jump jets able to maneuver ninety meters across the battlefield in a single leap.
